Client Shield — know who you're working for before you quote

One in three Australian tradies has been burned by a bad client or a fake supplier. Drop in an ABN, email, domain or BSB and RILLA checks verified signals from ATO, breach data, domain reputation and our network intelligence.

Check a client

Enter an ABN, business email, website/domain or BSB. No account needed.

Why Client Shield isn't just another review site

Anonymous reviews can be gamed. Client Shield is built from signals that are hard to fake: government registries, breach data, domain reputation, and patterns other RILLA users have already caught.

ABN verification

Instant ATO checksum and network reports on the business number.

Breach exposure

See if the email address has appeared in known data breaches.

Domain reputation

Detect new domains, typosquats and lookalike websites.

BSB intelligence

Spot fintech wallets, closed banks and mutual institutions.

Lock the full client-to-payment workflow

Client Shield is the free entry point. Inside RILLA Shield you can run the full 15-layer fraud check on invoices, lock supplier bank details, scan ABA files and protect every pay run.

  • Verified Supplier Vault — lock supplier bank details
  • ABA File Checker — stop payment file tampering
  • Pay-run protection — hold suspicious invoices automatically
  • Full audit trail — every decision timestamped

Frequently asked questions

What makes Client Shield different from a review site?

It checks verified signals — ABN validity, data breaches, domain reputation, typosquatting and RILLA's anonymised network intelligence — instead of anonymous opinions. That means fewer false vendettas and more fraud prevention.

What can I check?

An Australian Business Number (ABN), a business email address, a website or domain, or a BSB. We'll run the right set of verifications for each.

Is it private?

Yes. We never store what you type on this free check. Anything that hits our database is one-way hashed, so it can't be reversed back into the original value.

What should I do if a client shows as Verify or High Risk?

Confirm their identity and payment details through a channel you already trust — a phone call to a known number, an ABN lookup on the ABR website, or by asking your accountant. Don't quote or pay based on email alone.
